Board of directors attend second installment of the Paris Peace Forum

Board of directors Aurora Martin, of Bucharest, Romania and Shon Abegaz, of Chicago, USA, attended the second installment of the Paris Peace Forum held at the la Grande Halle de la Villette from November 11-13.
Martin and Abegaz served as representatives of the Institute to the gathering promoting a multilateral approach to global governance and peacebuilding. While attending the forum, Shon Abegaz was interviewed by the Association of World Citizens.
The Paris Peace Forum was established at the initiative of President Macron of France in 2018. The forum’s opening ceremony was attended by more than 80 heads of state, heads of government, senior officials and heads of international and regional organizations. The maiden edition of the Forum, held in 2018, enabled 65 heads of state and Government, 10 heads of international organizations, 121 project directors, and 6,000 Government stakeholders to reaffirm the importance of multilateralism and joint action.
